    CUHRRC Team Biography

    Stephanie NixonStephanie Nixon, PhD

    Stephanie Nixon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, and the Academic Director of the International Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation, at the University of Toronto. She has been an HIV advocate, researcher and clinician for the last 15 years. Stephanie is also a Research Associate with the Health Economics and HIV/AIDS Research Division (HEARD) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. Her current research and advocacy work focuses on the intersections between HIV and disability in Canada and in Southern Africa.
