    CUHRRC Team Biography

    Cathy WorthingtonCathy Worthington, PhD

    Cathy Worthington is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health and Social Policy at the University of Victoria. Her community-based research focuses on quality of and access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support services. In her research, Cathy has worked with people living with HIV, street-involved youth, Aboriginal peoples, African immigrant communities, as well as health and social service organizations that serve these populations and communities. In the area of HIV and rehabilitation, she has worked on a national survey of rehabilitation and HIV professionals ("The Canadian Providers’ Survey"), as well as studies on HIV and employment.
