    CUHRRC Team Biography

    Simon RackstrawSimon Rackstraw, PhD

    Simon Rackstraw trained in medicine at St. George’s Hospital Medical School and University College at the University of London, UK. He trained in general internal medicine before specialising in sexually transmitted infections and HIV medicine. For the past ten years, Simon has worked with a diverse cohort of HIV infected patients in East London. He currently works as a Consultant HIV Physician at St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals in London, where he is the lead clinician for HIV rehabilitation and runs a specialist clinic for patients with HIV related neurocognitive disorder. Simon is also the Medical Director of Mildmay Mission Hospital, a specialist hospital for HIV rehabilitation which has the only inpatient rehabilitation unit for patients with HIV related neurocognitive disorder in Europe.
