    CUHRRC Team Biography

    Kelly O'BrienKelly O'Brien, BSc, BScPT, PhD

    Kelly O’Brien is a physical therapist and clinical epidemiologist. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Kelly’s research interests are in the area of HIV, disability and rehabilitation. Her specific research interests include exploring the experiences of episodic disability from the perspective of adults living with HIV, systematic reviews investigating the effect of exercise interventions for adults living with HIV, and developing and assessing the measurement properties of a new HIV-specific disability questionnaire. Kelly’s current research is supported by grants from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). She is a founding member of the Canada-UK HIV and Rehabilitation Research Collaborative (CUHRRC), and is also a Board Member of the Canadian Working Group on HIV and Rehabilitation (CWGHR).
