    CUHRRC Team Biography

    Cuisle FordeCuisle Forde, PhD

    Dr Cuisle Forde graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin in 2008. Having been awarded a Trinity scholarship during her undergraduate career, and an Irish Research Council scholarship to carry out a PhD, she began work on her doctoral thesis the following autumn, which she completed in 2012. During her doctoral studies, Cuisle completed a Diploma in statistics and was involved in several research projects in the area of exercise and and physical activity for the treatment and prevention of chronic disease. After spending some time working clinically and lecturing in Kosovo, Cuisle returned to Dublin to begin a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Discipline of Physiotherapy, Trinity College Dublin. Her work involves investigating the role of exercise as a treatment tool for adults with communicable diseases, including those living with HIV.
